Savage & Cooke distillery The Burning Chair Bourbon 88 proof

The Burning Chair is a bourbon produced by Napa Valley winemaker Dave Phinney at the Savage & Cooke distillery on Mare Island in Vallejo, California.  It's made from bourbons distilled in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee and aged a minimum of four years in new, charred American oak. The bourbon is then finished in wine barrels from Dave's Napa Valley Cabernet projects. It's bottled at 88 proof with water from the Alexander Valley. 

The Burning Chair is described as intense and expressive, with an array of sweet aromas and a lush, plush palate. It has hints of brown sugar, caramel, and butterscotch, and a long and exciting finish.
