Closer to Sancerre than your average Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, it's clear from the start this is a remarkable wine. A swirl of the glass releases lily, boxwood, and honeysuckle notes that complement peach, lychee, and of course, grapefruit on the palate. The well-integrated acidity and classic minerality of the Loire Valley terroir keep the wine both lively and supple. A natural pairing with fresh seafood, shellfish, and lowcountry boil.

At Domaine Beauséjour, four generations of winegrowers built a legacy where the vine and the wine express themselves completely. Nowadays, Philippe and Véronique Trotignon still work with the same pledge to respect tradition, enhanced with a concern for the long-term health of the land. Nestled on the Cher hillsides, the 25 year old vineyard stretches over 50 acres scattered on the rural districts of Noyers-sur-Cher and Saint-Romain-sur-Cher. Philippe took over the estate as a whole in 2002, after having worked on it in GAEC with his parents Jean-Paul and Colette for 15 years.
