Origin of the name: The name of this vineyard refers to the German tribe "Marcomans", who settled on this plot in the 2nd half of the IIIrd Century.
Soil: Marly limestone and sandy soil, situated at the top of the hill, ideal for the ripening of chardonnay.
right gold colour. Fragrances of lime blossom mixed with expressive aromas of yellow fleshed fruit (peach, apricot) and toasted bread on a hint of minerality. Good-balanced, precise with a lot of energy. Very pure aromatic combination and beautiful fruit expression. Delicate oak note. Long and slightly toasty finish.
