Sourced primarily from a small vineyard on Pritchard Hill and blended with our estate fruit, the wine is an elegant expression of two of Napa Valley's premier appellations. Aromas of plum and blackberries are balanced with a floral bouquet ending with cocoa and spice. The mouthfeel is full and lively with soft tannins and a silky finish. We are proud to add Pritchard Hill to our cherished group of fruit sources and believe this partnership creates a wine for the ages.
97 Points Robert Parker: "A barrel sample blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the very deep purple-black colored Dancing Hares Proprietary Red offers up black currant cordial, warm plums, black berry preserves and chocolate box notes with wafts of red fruit, dusty earth and herbs. Very firm in the medium to full-bodied mouth with very fine tannins, it's very pure and pretty, finishing long and lively. 350 cases were made."
