"We are pretty picky when it comes to Syrah placements on our shelves. Many producers miss the mark and label Syrah but the wines don’t even come close. That’s not the case with Stolpman Vineyards. The vines from their hilltop vineyards are stressed therefore delivering more flavor intensity and depth. The nose displays dark plum, blackberry, black pepper, lavender and roasted herbs. Flavors of blackberry and cocoa coat the palate on a full-bodied frame. The tannins are firm but well integrated for a long plush and spicy finish. This wine calls for a rib eye steak." - Robert
