Here we have a wonderful non-vintage red blend from Chateauneuf-du-Pape legend Domaine du Pegau. "Plan" was originally created out of need when a pour vintage left them unable to make a suitable version of the estate wine. It was so well received that they decided to make it regularly. This version, a blend of the 2014, 2015, and 2016 vintages displays the lovely high-toned red fruits of Grenache from younger Chateauneuf vines and vineyards just outside of the appellation. Please try this lovely, under-priced wine - you'll thank me later!
